Lonnie Jones Jr. is a 2002 graduate from the “East Tennessee School of Preaching and Mission” located in Knoxville, Tennessee. Lonnie has preached the gospel for 14 years and has been serving the congregation at Blue Ridge, Georgia since January 2009. He has also preached the gospel in seven states as well as over seas in New Zealand.
Lonnie loves evangelism outreach efforts, “in order that others may know the Christ.” While working in Pennsylvania, Lonnie was an instructor for the “Mid Atlantic School of Biblical Studies” a satellite school of Southeast School of Biblical Studies, formerly ETSPM. Additionally, Lonnie has taught as an adjunct faculty member for the “Georgia School of Preaching and Biblical Studies” at the Ellijay, Georgia campus. Lonnie has spoken on lectureships, gospel meetings, family retreats and youth events throughout the United States. He has also written for brotherhood publications. Currently, Lonnie served as the SESBS (East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions) Alumni President from 2009 -2013. Lonnie and his wife Karen have been married for 22 years and are blessed with 3 children, Daniel, Allyson, and Olivia. |
