The Men of Blue Ridge church of Crist meet every month on the second (2nd) Tuesday’s to discuss the leadership of the Lord’s church. Topics of discussion include but are not limited too eldership, forgiveness, leaders of the Bible, qualifications for elders/ deacons and other issues as they pretain to leadership. Meeting times are 7-8:30pm.

Men’s Leadership Classes

On Saturday July 28th, 2012 the Blue Ridge church of Christ reached out into our community and assisted over 95 students and over 35 families with “Back to School Supplies.” For the 4th year the congregation at Blue Ridge has continued to meet he needs of those in our community. So far over the last 4 years we have assisted over 320 students and over 120 families. A special thank you to all the congregation at Blue Ridge.

Once again the Blue Ridge church of Christ will be collecting school supplies for our outreach, “Book Bags!” We encourage all our members to be looking for school items that are on sale and bring them to the church for Distribution to those in need in our community on July 30th! Time of distribution will be from 10am – 11am! Also, if you or someone you know are in need of school supplies, have them contact the church office at 706-632-5923!
Ladies Night Out

There will be a Ladies Night Out at “Fatz Cafe” in Blairsville on Monday May 16th at 6:30pm! Ladies are asked to sign up for this event by the 11th of May.
Spring Gospel Meeting

Our Spring Gospel Meeting will be held on Friday March 25th through Sunday March 27th. Brother David Decker of the Georgia School of Preaching and Biblical Studies will be conducting this meeting. Our Theme is “Pressing Towards the Prize.” Friday and Saturday evening at 7pm, Sunday at 9am, 10am and 1pm. Lunch will be provided.. All sister congregations and the community are invited.
Sister Loretta Farness

Sister Loretta Farness known for her love of God, family and the church passed away on Friday February 11th. Her memorial service will be graveside on Sunday February 13th at 4pm in the cemetery across from Fannin Middle School. Please keep Don and the Gilliam family in your prayers.
On Monday January 17th 17 men from 8 area congregations gathered at Blue Ridge in order to listen to two lessons on Preachers responsibilities and Elders responsibilities. Both Jeff Archey (East Side in Cleveland, TN) and Gary Hampton (Director of ETSPM) did a great job leading our discussion. Our net Workshop is planned for April 30th, 2011!
On Sunday January 2nd the Elders of Blue Ridge will be delivering to the congregation at the 11:15 Bible study hour the yearly report and Budget. Every member is asked to be present.
Starting on Sunday November 7th 2010 Blue Ridge church of Christ will change both Bible study times and Worship service times. Bible study will be conducted from 9am – 9:45am; worship service will be conducted from 10am – 11am; Bible study and discussion class 2 will be conducted from 11:15am – noon! *All members and visitors are asked to join us in all 3 services to the Lord!
